What is Starter Edition?
Starter Edition is the name for a World of Warcraft trial account, where the game has not been purchased, and no subscription has been paid. Although most of the limitations compared to the full game with a subscription are the same, they differ from Veteran Edition accounts, which are owned by players who have bought the game or paid a subscription, but who are not currently subscribed.
